  1. The Very Hungry Caterpillar – a collaborative story adapted by Moumona, Thomas, Filip & Kyson

One day the moon went out for a walk. He saw a leaf on the ground and he shone his light onto it. The Moon noticed a little egg on the leaf. He picked it up and kept it safe all night. The sun kept the egg nice and cosy all day.
One Sunday, as the sun rose, out popped a caterpillar. He was tiny, but very hungry. He started to look for food in the forest.
On Monday the Very Hungry Caterpillar ate a big, red apple! His tummy rumbled because he was still very hungry.
On Tuesday he ate two crunchy, yellow pears.
    But he was still hungry!
On Wednesday he munched three purple plums.
    But he was still hungry!
On Thursday he gobbled up four bright red strawberries.
    But he was still hungry!
On Friday he wolfed down five juicy oranges.
    But still he was hungry!

  4. I wonder what he will eat on Sunday? If I was as hungry as the caterpillar I think I would like to eat a roast chicken with lots of gravy. I might even have a big bowl of sticky chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert!
